Working with the Mustang Heritage Foundation I created the campaign, supervised media and public relations planning and produced the creative elements of the campaign from video to banner ads to trade show materials. We were honored to have the opportunity to document and tell the story of the James Avery Company. Started over 60 years ago in Kerrville, Texas James Avery began to craft his jewelry and create life-long relationships with his customers. The seven videos are showcased in the new visitor center as a journey through the design and manufacturing process.
We also had the opportunity to create and produce online marketing videos to promote Valentines and their charm line.

I had the honor of being the Director of Marketing for the Mustang Heritage Foundation for three years. I have never been in a position to have such a creative impact on a client’s business. I designed and produced all creative elements from traditional advertising, broadcast, video, web design, digital marketing. I partnered with and managed media and PR planning and execution. The whole package. The Extreme Mustang Makeover is the lead event for the Foundation and has done nothing but become more successful and more dynamic in helping get wild mustangs gentled, trained and into private homes.

State Farm and their agency Sanders\Wingo wanted to create a branded entertainment site using the comical talents of Steve Harvey. Targeted at African-Americans the site was designed to showcase 42 video shorts based on the State Farm tenets of Auto, Home, Family and Life. The 10-month project involved site design and development as well as video production that included shooting Steve Harvey, animation and sound design.
As Executive Producer, Executive Creative Director, Art Director and Project Manager this production was a great opportunity take advantage of our full range of capabilities.

The marketing goal of the series of 3D expandable Flash banners was to create interest in the historical preservation of Texas' cultural landmarks and encourage tourism to historic sites across the state. The dynamic banners simulate a pop-up book 3D effect with sound design to bring a historical moment to life.

Roscoe State Bank is celebrating its 110th year as a community bank. The bank with three locations was in need of a relevant brand message. Being a local bank with employee that live near the bank locations the positioning was to be a bank that is like your "best neighbor". A picket fence became the symbol of what it means to be a neighbor. The language is familiar. The look is simple and direct.

Package design
As you age your body stops producing Nitric Oxide that is critical for cardio vascular health. The patented formula is a daily product for adults over 40 to help the body produce NO back at normal levels. We were involved in creating the name, the logo, the package design, website and trade show display.

The idea that an undergraduate education should prepare you for a global world was not expected from the Austin, Texas based university. With university partnerships in over 14 countries St. Edward’s is becoming a leading university by providing the experiences and education that today’s world demands. We created the Take On Your World campaign to broadcast the idea that St. Edward’s can be the door to global understanding and prepare you for where you want to go. We were involved in brand positioning, campaign development and execution.

This was a very heart felt project. The founder is a wonderful lady who created the clinic with a mission to provide healthcare free of charge for those who cannot afford it. The more we got to know everyone the more we knew how powerful their message was.
I was the creative director and wrote the stimulus for the interviews. I want to thank Greg Hughs who was director, cameraman and editor on the project.
The video debuted at the annual Sacred Heart gala and helped double the contributions over the year prior. The video was even mentioned in the Austin Statesman gossip column as an award-winning video.

Involved in concepting and designing a new look & feel for the Caesars Entertainment Group. Designed a complete campaign look across multiple media and a new brand standards guideline.

Innovation First, a innovative robotics company, created a roach-like toy to drive student aged kids to a site to learn about science and engineering. To accomplish the goal the site incorporated online gaming, IQ tests and product collecting. The strategy was to challenge users to obtain as many points as possible to become the global leader and be invited to become an official member of the Hand & Stars Society. To enter the site a unique serial number was added to the product packaging that upon registration sent you to the Hand & Stars site. After one year in market the site had 388,342 visits nearing 15,000 daily visitors, 27% bounce rate, 7:46 average time on site and 5.36 average page views per visit.
The HEXBUG Nano was nominated for Specialty Toy of the Year by the Toy Industry Association. The HEXBUG Nano was getting credit as an educational product rather than a gadget largely due to the success of the Hand & Stars website.

Innovation does not happen often. Especially when it come to engine valve design. We were engaged to position, brand and build communications for the patented slide valve technology company. We found ways to effectively and efficiently design and produce business cards, the website, a series of videos and motion graphic demos to help engineers understand the revolutionary thinking behind the G3 Glide Valve.

With harder economic times our government is constantly evaluating where to spend our tax dollars. Cancer research funding has been a target for reducing spending and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network needed a campaign to raise awareness for the needs of cancer survivors for finding a cure. The Stomp Campaign was designed to literally get people to stomp on a poster and share their photos through social media. I was involved in connecting, art directing and producing the campaign.

This viral video was produced to help encourage women to get second and thrid opinions before having a surgical procedure. After the launch in July 2010 the video had over 40,000 site views and through PR efforts over 15 million exposures through presentations, media appearances and online sharing.

The American Joint Committee on Cancer created the protocol for cancer staging and diagnosis over 50 years ago. The organization was in need of a branding overhaul. We were involved in the creation of a new logo and brand standards as well as the design of a new website.

Improving online search results is not an easy business especially when it come to geographic targeting for smaller businesses. Active Web had a formula that could help bring smaller regional business to the forefront of search results dramatically increasing their presence. We created the logo, business card and presentation template for the small company in Austin.
